Ameditor offers editing help of a professional editors. The website is well-organized, but design is rather old fashioned. Everything can be easily found on the Main page: Services, Company information, Contacts, Sitemap, FAQs, etc. The only thing I couldn’t find is – Price. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to calculate exact price before placing an order. Ameditor offers editorial services for scientific and medical manuscripts. As far as I have understood, the company is based in China and has Chinese editors, which is not very promising.
Price policy and order details
To see prices you need to sing up. There is not signing up form. This fact really complicates the ordering process. To get a quote you have to contact the Administrator and send your instructions and requirements. After a while, somebody will get back to you and inform you about the price and possible deadline. I think, such kind of approach is not very comfortable and may distract potential customers. All in all, prices for editing service are too high!
One more disadvantage is that the website doesn’t offer any discounts. Thus, it doesn’t not matter if you are a new customer or a regular one, you will have to pay the full price. Taking into account high prices and unfriendly website, my desire to place an order disappeared. But, the company guarantees to make a very substantial work on your paper. The website use Microsoft Word Change Tracker to show all improvements that were made to the paper by the editor.
Quality of writing and support
When I received my edited paper, I was not pleasantly surprised. I could find only minor changes. The style of writing, word choice and sentence structure were not improved. Formatting and grammar mistakes were corrected, but it is not enough!
As for the Support, Online chat is not available on the website. So, do not expect to get instant help. You will have to wait some time to get response from Administrator after submission of your order.
Conclusion
The paper edited by ameditor.com will not be improved. Editor will make only minor changes, but a big amount of money will be taken from your credit card for that poor services.
